Microgaming has secured another license for its online gaming products in Malta, this time for its online bingo software. The group has already been granted licenses by Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA), for its online casino and poker products.
Malta was the original EU member state to move to regulate remote gambling, with four different levels of licenses available. Applicants must undergo a number of checks including a business and technical assessment, along with a compliance audit.
Microgaming CEO, Roger Raatgever, commented: “Malta continues to be a growing hub of European gaming with a successful regulatory model and we have continued our significant investment in Malta by implementing various on-site servers.”
“These will not only enhance connectivity and resilience for online gaming, but also contribute to a superior experience for operators and players, alike. This provides Microgaming with the opportunity to offer our operators an additional gateway into the EU and we are delighted to add bingo to our software offering.”
Microgaming’s online poker network includes the likes of Ladbrokes Poker, 32Red Poker, Gutshot and many more. They also have a number of the top online casino brands underneath them, including Jackpot City, Lucky Nugget Casino and Aces High Casino.
